Strike a Pose
Don't forget to watch your posture. To ensure you look elegant and naturally poised, keep your stomach comfortably tight, shoulders relaxed and neck slightly extended. For an upper arm slimming trick, keep your elbows an inch away from your
body.

Pack your Bags - AND Your Photographer
Don't hesitate to ask if your local favorite photographer travels; the best are very accustomed to following their clients to unusual destinations.

Don't Take Their Word For It

Photojournalism is the current buzzword in wedding photography, but brides beware...Any photographer can claim to be a photojournalist, yet some traditional studio photographers just can’t make the leap from carefully controlling everything to flexibly documenting a story that’s unfolding before them. Ask to see portfolios before making a decision.

A Must-Have Photo Opp
Here's an image that's a must for your photo album... Have your photographer capture the groom's face at his first glimpse of the bride walking down the aisle. This is such a meaningful moment, and the look on his face will reflect the emotion of the day for years to come.

Examine Your Photo Package
Know ahead of time what goods/services you will receive for the price being quoted to you from the wedding photographer. Will you be receiving previews and/or viewing images online? Is there an album included? Do you need to assemble it yourself or is it already put together? How many hours of coverage are included? Is there an extra charge for travel? If a wedding photography package doesn't sound like exactly what you need, can it be changed and is there a cost to change it?

Back it Up
If you purchase CD's or DVD's from your wedding photographer (digital images), remember to back up your disks every 4-5 years or check to see if the images have been burned to a disk that will†have†a longer life span. Put a reminder note on an online calendar service so that you don't forget or email yourself a reminder through an online 'alarm service'. All disks do have a life span.

To ensure beautiful photographs, wear a dress that fits, wear comfortable shoes, be on time, and be a happy bride.† Everyone takes their cue from the bride, including the wedding photographer.† If she's having a great time, laughing and dancing, the guests will too, and the resulting photographs will reveal the evening's radiance!
