When Rebecca Rowsey’s boyfriend, Nick Kilibarda, flew with her to visit her family for the first time, at their home tucked into the base of Colorado’s Pikes Peak, he found that the stylish and flawlessly put together fashionista he had been dating had a rugged side. She surprised him with trips into the mountains and fly-fishing on Fall River, where she yanked on her waders and rushed to nab the best spot for catching brook trout. It did little to scare him off. Instead it was on that trip that Nick told Rebecca he loved her for the first time. Six years later, the couple’s wedding invitation featured a silhouette of those same mountains to which they returned for their nuptials in September 2010.
